Free Media With a Library Card
Libraries are probably the best way to get free media content. Many libraries partner with services to provide you access to FREE ebooks, audiobooks, movies and more. Some libraries even have physical items you can borrow like board games, DVDs, tools, sewing machines, musical instruments and more. Check with your local library and see what they have on offer!
For digital services though, if you find your library doesn't connect with any of these, you can try requesting they do so. Or alternatively many libraries offer online membership to people who live in different regions, particularly those libraries in large cities. So check libraries outside your local area, you never know what those libraries may offer.
